What Is the Dislocated Worker Program?

The Minnesota Dislocated Worker Program supports individuals who have lost employment through no fault of their own and need help returning to work. Eligible participants may receive services such as:

Career planning
Job search assistance
Resume and interview preparation
Counselor-approved training
Support services when available
Help preparing for a new career path

Who Who May Qualify?

You may qualify if you:

Have been laid off through no fault of your own
Were notified that your job will end
Are eligible for unemployment insurance
Need training to return to suitable employment
Need help transitioning into a new career field

Eligibility is determined by a Dislocated Worker counselor or program provider.
